A word on pricing...Each piece of furniture is created as a "one of a kind". I've made several different designs, with no two of them ever being exactly alike. Each piece is either custom made to suit your specific needs, or occasionally I come across a gorgeous piece of wood that inspires my personal creative design, and I instantly envision what I must create with it. I love the challenge of working with large natural "live edge" slabs, and have created tables from a single log slab cut "through and through", as long as 20' 8"...I love the history and beauty of the wood. When I have a huge slab of wood, that dates back 1,000 to 2,000 years it would seem a crime to "cut it up" for lumber or small pieces, so I have a tendency to "max out" the slabs I have available and enjoy showcasing them in the large area of a table top. I always use solid wood slabs, no veneers...
I'm happy to provide you with a "ball park" quote, but prices can vary considerably as it depends on the design as well the value of the materials I am using. The prices below are a low to high range from a Redwood dining table featuring a straighter grain slab on one end of the scale, to an extraordinary Burled and /or and Inlaid table for up to 20! Larger tables are possible as well, just let me know what fits your needs. Prices for dining tables will range from approximately $3,000 for smaller simpler tables, to $80,000 for some of my huge "through and through" cut, solid slab, Inlaid and Burled tables.

Big, Fabulous Curly Redwood Coffee Table! Fantastic table, check out the amazing grain! Curly, wavy...flat out beautiful! Table edges are natural on the long sides. This came from a massive (about 20 to 24 feet across) Redwood. This would have been from the base, where there are deep rolls and folds, so although it came from a massive tree, it has natural edges on both sides, and very uniform curly grain side to side. Oak Burl Coffee Table Live Oak Burl Coffee Table Here's an unusual one! Huge natural slab of Oak Burl...we salvaged a massive (about 2 ton) Oak Burl after a flood in Texas left it on a roadway. Very heavy dense wood, great character...great conversation piece! The table top is mounted on a Birch burl driftwood base, from the beaches of Alaska. We do have a few more slabs remaining from this same burl, and when it's gone, it's gone...I have never seen another Oak Burl this size....all the other slabs will make larger tables than this one, if you need one bigger! Turquoise Inlaid Eucalyptus Eucalyptus with natural turquoise nugget inlay Rich, beautiful wood! This slab of Eucalyptus has been inlaid with natural Turquoise nuggets in the naturally occurring voids in the wood... it had a very interesting shape in the voids, so I decided to take advantage of what nature had already provided and really show it off. Live edges and contemporary angled ends give a refined rustic feel. I think it has potential to be used a few different ways. A once in a lifetime find...! The curved edge conceals glass shelving The bench slab itself is a slab of Juniper...The "recliner" chair is fabulous, carved to fit comfortably...at your left is a natural knot in the wood, which happens to hold a wine bottle perfectly! Incredibly this entire set is created from a single piece of a massive tree...the branch split off after the tree was severely damaged in a fire, stripping off part of the trunk along with it. Are you familiar with the rarity of the Giant Sequoia wood? There are three species commonly known as Redwood or Sequoia: Giant Sequoia, Coastal Redwood and Dawn Redwood. Sequoiadendron giganteum (Giant Sequoia) is the sole species in the genus Sequoiadendron. There are only a few thousand of these trees remaining in a swath of land extending 250 miles long and 50 miles across. The trees are of course currently illegal to harvest, and in 1991 it became illegal to harvest even fallen trees. It is impossible to tell the age of the tree from just the branch, but it is likely the tree was around 3,000 years old that these slabs came from! The branch itself has around 800 years of growth rings! The Giant Sequoia are the largest trees on earth (by volume), and the Coastal Redwoods are the tallest trees on earth...The rarity lies not only in the scarcity of the wood, but in the size of these slabs as well. Shown to the left is the "Grizzly Giant" in the Mariposa grove, towering over the people standing below...You can see the diameter of the branches is tremendous, 5 or 6 feet across. About Redwood or Sequoia Costal Redwood and Giant Sequoia are two different Species Coast or Coastal Redwood or California Redwood (one of three species of trees known as Redwoods) Sequoia sempervirens is a genus in the cypress family Cupressaceae containing the single living species.
Sequoiadendron giganteum (Giant Sequoia) is the sole species in the genus Sequoiadendron.
